Sunday afternoon used to be one of the most exciting moments of the week. In our Jazzclub in Utrecht there were sessions and concerts. The picture above is the start of the 1958 - 1959 season. Rita Reys performs with the Pim Jacobs Trio. Pim at the piano, Rudy, his brother, on bass and Cees See drums. In the back sits Ado Broodboom, trumpet and I am sure that tenorman Toon van Vliet was also present. Together the best in Dutch Jazz at that time.
